Miko is a 7-month-old kitten under the care of The Feline Connection rescue, diagnosed with an inoperable 4mm VSD (ventricular septal defect) in his heart. Although his condition is less severe than Diane's, he will need continuous, expensive heart medication and monitoring for the rest of his life to maintain his health.
